Check Out the 4th Grade SMET Checklist!The 4th grade teachers have created a checklist to ensure that all SMET assessment frameworks are covered before CSAP. You can see it on the Language Arts page in the K-5 hexter map folder. They will track which SMET frameworks are addressed in each unit. This is a great idea that others may want to "borrow" - save theirs to your computer, copy and paste your SMETs and make your own!
Common Assessment Windows 2009 -2010The common assessments have been created to be given every 6 weeks* If you feel that your students are prepared and ready for the assessment, you can give it during the week prior to the window. Please make sure to have your data recorded and ready to share at the PLC Data Meeting following the assessment.
September 28th – Oct. 2nd (PLC Data Meeting- Oct. 8th)
November 2nd – November 6th (PLC Data Meeting – Week of Nov. 9th)
December 14th – December 18th (PLC Data Meeting – Week of Jan. 11th)
February 8th – February 11th (PLC Data Meeting – Feb. 12th)
March 22nd – March 26th CSAP!! OPTIONAL!!!! (PLC Data Meeting – Week of April 12th)
May 3rd – May 7th (PLC Data Meeting – Week of May. 10th)
* Elementary Science will only be given hexters 1, 3, and 6. Elementary Social Studies will
only be given hexters 2, 4, and 6.
Don’t forget, use the data analysis sheets (located in the template folder - compile school data on Step 1 at the school level, use district data to complete all 5 Steps at the PLC Data Meeting).
